    New Appointment and Some Renewals at IPM
     
     
    The following people were appointed by the Director of IPM to the headships of the schools.
    • Siamak Yassemi succeeds Gholamreza B. Khosrovshahi as the head of School of Mathematics. GBK stepped down of his post after ten years.
    • Hossein Esteki, Hashem Rafii Tabar, and Hamid Sarbazi-Azad were reappointed to their posts as heads of Schools of Cognitive Sciences, Nano Sciences, and computer Sciences, respectively.


    These appointments are all for two years.
