### Research Activities

Since the middle of the fifties homological methods have been an important tool in several branches of mathematics. This is certainly the case for algebraic'''''''' subjects like algebraic geometry, algebraic topology, and commutative algebra.

The notions of the classical homological dimension (projective, injective, and flat dimension) of modules have been generalized to that of complexes of modules, cf. R. Hartshorn and H.B. Foxby, the later has extended (most of) the formulas known for modules. One of the main themes in this research is the study about the homological dimensions (Classical, Gorenstein, and restricted dimensions) of complexes of modules.

The dual of notions have often proved to be important tools in mathematics, for example in Matlis'''' works. The other main themes in this research is to study the duals of some notions in commutative algebra.
