Research Activities

Various quantities and observables can be measured in heavy Ion collision experiments, but since the interactions are strong, we can not calculate them by perturhative methods. Gauge/Gravity duality is one of the theotetical ways investigating such strongly coupled systems. We can study a strongly coupled gauge-theory by studying a dual classical gravity theory via holographic methods. The goal of this project is finding and investigating, appropriate gravity models which can produce and predict the quantities of strongly coupled QCD, which is the theory describes the dominant interaction in heavy ion collisions.
