Research Activities

Structural properties of Fe(OH)2 under static pressure have been the subject of numerous studies during the last few year. Experimental studies for Fe(OH)2 under external pressure revealed self-oxidation of Fe(OH)2. By using abinitio PWSCF we want to reproduce eperimental behavior of Fe(OH)2.

Present Research Project at IPM

Calculation of the effective interaction parameters in the LDA+U method for Fe(OH)2
