Research Interests

Oscillations in solar atmosphere. Hydromagnetic wave modes in magnetic flux tubes. Coronal heating by the resonance absorption of Alfven waves. Heating of coronal loops by damping of MHD waves. Damping of stellar oscillations by resistive and viscous dissipations. The higher order effect of rotation on stellar oscillations. Velocity curve analysis of the eclipsing and the spectroscopic binaries.
