Research Interests

Branes in superyravity and string theory, Branes world-volume solitons, Noncommutative solitons, Noncommutative supersymmetry

Research Activities

In the past few years, my research interests and activities have been focused around the following subjects; string solitons of the type of brane configurations, brane world volume soltions, solitons of noncommutative field theories with applications to tachyon condensation and brane physics, deformation of the supersymmetry algebra in noncommutative spaces and construction of models with noncommutative super symmetry. The last topic is currently under the investigation. In this respect we have already found the deformations of the 2 and 4 dimensional N=1 superalgebras together with some of their representations. Construction of the field theory models with these types of symmetries and investigation of their properties, such as their BPS states, are subjects of the current research.
