IPM Workshop on Representations of Artin Algebras

October 15-18, 2012 (24-27 Mehr, 1391)

Aim

The aim of the workshop is to introduce the participants to the modern representation theory of artin algebras and to present some current researches in this field.

Prerequisites

The lectures will start with background materials from representation theory of algebras. Also, the tools of homological algebra play a key role in these courses.

Registration fee for non-Iranian participants:
The registration fee is 50 Euros. For participants from developing countries and all students, the registration fee is 30 Euros.
(It is suggested that the participants who may need visa, register earlier to save time for visa process.)

The registration fee for international participants will be due in cash at the time of registration on the first day of the workshop. Please note that standard credit cards; e.g., Visa, Master or AmEXP, cannot be used in Iran.

The accommodation fee is 30 Euros (per night).

One-day Conference

The last day of the meeting is devoted to a "One day Conference" for the participants to present their results on subjects related to the "Representation Theory of Algebras". This will provide, in particular, an opportunity for the Iranian participants to present their results on Representation theory. Each lecture will be 20 minutes. Papers will be accepted for presentation at the conference subject to approval by the Organizers. Please send the title and abstract of your talk to Javad Asadollahi via asadollahi@ipm.ir.
