Two of IPM Senior Fellows were honored as distinguished researchers for the year 1384.

In the 6th annual ceremony in the research week, two of our senior fellows, Farhad Ardalan and Hessamaddin Arfaei, were honored as distinguished researchers for the year 1384.
This was based on their election as members of TWAS (Third World Academy of Sciences). Farhad Ardalan was elected in 2001 and Hessamaddin Arfaei in 2003.
Each year a number of scientists (working in developing countries) are elected as members of TWAS honored on their merit and scientific achievement and also contribution to development of science in their country.
