| 11:00 - 12:00 Harmonic Mappings and Minimal Surfaces in the Singular Setting School ISFAHAN BRANCH OF MATHEMATICS ABSTRACT: In this talk, we will first discuss fundamentals of harmonic mappings and minimal surfaces in the smooth setting. We will then discuss various generalizations to the singular setting. At the end, we will review compactness theory for harmonic maps from surfaces and its application to minimal surface theory as well as some rigidity results. This is based on joint work with C.
