10:00 - 12:00 Mathematical Logic Weekly Seminar New Results in Neo-stability Project School MATHEMATICS I will talk about the results of my recent work in pure model theory, which have been obtained with an analytical approach. Specifically, I will talk about generic stability of types/measures and classification of classical/continuous first-order theories. Everyone could join the talk as a guest and no password is needed. https://b2n.ir/m07851 ... 11:00 - 12:00 Wednesday Weekly Seminar - google meet Disentangling effects of the initial stage from the evolution stage in heavy ion collisions using EPOS and PHSD School PARTICLES AND ACCELERATORS Abstract: In this study, we try to better understand in which way the very initial stage on one side and the dynamical evolution on the other side affect final results in heavy ion collisions. We will construct a new approach, referred to as EPOSi+PHSDe, where the usual EPOS initial conditions are used as starting point of the evolution of partons and hadrons according to PHSD. We study the space-time evolution of matter in the new approach, and compare it to the one in EPOS (with hydrodynamical evolution) and PHSD (with initial stage from Pythia), which allows to understand substantial differences in the distributions of final ... 14:00 - 15:00 Weekly Seminar Valorization of carbon dioxide to cyclic carbonate using silica/organosilica mesoporous materials School NANO SCIENCES In recent years, human activities, the rapid growth of industrialization, and especially the uncontrolled combustion of fossil fuels have unfortunately resulted in the increase of atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2), as a component of greenhouses gases. The long-term effects of this trend have ensued global warming, ice melting, ocean warming, sea-level rising, and ocean acidification which are overall defined as global climate change. Consequently, the development of new carbon capture and utilization systems enabled to minimize CO2 emissions, has become the hottest topic in the scientific communities. On the other hand, CO2 is ... |
