| 11:00 - 13:00 Commutative Algebra Webinar A Study of Modules over Rings with Prime Characteristic School MATHEMATICS For a commutative Noetherian ring $R$ of prime characteristic with the Frobenius map f, denoted by ${^fhspace{-0.5mm}R}$ the $(R-R)$-bimodule which is $R$ as an additive group and has the structure on the left defined by $f$ and the structure on the right defined by the identity map on $R$. The functor $F(-) = - otimes_R {^fhspace{-0.5mm}R}$, which has been introduced by Peskine-Szpiro, plays an important role in commutative algebra. Note that $F$ preserves projectivity.
