| 14:00 - 15:00 Weekly Seminar HEPCo Group Asymptotic Symmetries, Higher Dimensions and Higher Spins School PHYSICS Abstract: The BMS group provides an underlying symmetry interpretation for soft graviton theorems and a similar link holds between electromagnetic asymptotic symmetries and soft photon theorems. These connections were also argued to hold beyond four spacetime dimensions. What about higher spins? To address this question, we discuss the interplay between asymptotic symmetries at null infinity and soft theorems for higher-spin fields in Minkowski spacetimes of di- mension greater or equal to four.
