| 15:00 - 16:30 Lecture Rankin-Selberg Integrals and Doubling School MATHEMATICS I will give an introduction to the so-called Rankin-Selberg method of constructing automorphic L-functions, mostly through examples. I will then report on joint work with J. Cogdell and F. Shahidi, developing a Rankin-Selberg integral for the product of general spin and general linear groups. This generalizes some results of S. Gelbart, D. Ginzburg, I. Piatetski-Shapiro, S. Rallis and D. Soudry and closely related to recent results of E. Kaplan, J.-F. Lau and B. Liu. ... |
