11:00 - 12:00 Journal Club: Experiment & PhenomenologyEmergence of hydrodynamical behaviors in small systems School PARTICLES AND ACCELERATORS Abstract: Recently, it was observed the hydrodynamical behaviors in collisions of small systems. It was inferred from collective behaviors seen in the plateau of correlation function among charged particles. After that, people would say that these experiments as well as other problems in hydrodynamics might signal the fact that our axioms of reaching to hydrodynamics in collisions of heavy ions is not true. In the community of heavy ion, people are talking about "Hydrodynamization" instead of thermalization or touching local equilibrium. In this talk, we will try to first convince ourselves that hydrodynamical behaviors in small systems is no ... 14:00 - 16:00 Mathtematical Logic Weekly SeminarGalvins Question on Non-$sigma$-well Ordered Lines School MATHEMATICS Assume $mathcal{C}$ is the class of all linear orders $L$ such that $L$ is not a countable union of well ordered sets, and every uncountable subset of $L$ contains a copy of $omega_1$. We show that $mathcal{C}$ might have minimal elements which answers a question due to Galvin. ... |
