10:00 - 11:00 Weekly Seminar The statistical analysis of recurrent episode data School BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES A special case involving multiple event types is when the events correspond to the onset and termination of a relapsing and remitting condition. This setting may be more appropriately characterized as recurrent episodes or alternating states rather than recurrent events, but models and methods similar to those for ordinary recurrent events can be used for analysis. In this talk, I briefly describe standard analysis for recurrent episode data. In addition, by using some real examples, I explain common issues when we ignore characteristics of such data. ... |
